how to upgrade your infinix hot note to 5.0
HOW TO UPGRADE INFINIX HOT NOTE TO LOLLIPOP
STAGE ONE
BY OKWEIMAT REQUIREMENTS:i.) Your PC (running Windows 7 or 8)
ii.) A working USB cable
iii.) Infinix Hot Note X551 Lollipop ROM File >> Download Infinix Hot Note X551 Lollipop Here.
OR Lollipop ROM file >> For Infinix Hot Note Pro (2GB+32GB version)
Extract the file to a folder on your computer after downloading.
iv.) VCOM Drivers, which you can DOWNLOAD HERE
v.) SP Flashtool >> DOWNLOAD THAT HERE
Install the softwares - ( iv.) and ( v.) above
Once you have all those 5 tools ready, you can proceed.
Hollup! just hollup, before we Continue...
N.B:
* Enable USB Debugging mode by going to settings > Developer Options > Enable USB debugging **Upgrade/Flashing will Wipe your phone memory.
Please Ensure you remove your SDcard or Back Up the files your saved in your device's Internal memory, especially Media files (Videos, Music) or whatever's important, like your Contacts, you use this App to Backup your Contact , back them up by moving the Files to your PC or memory card and remove the Memory SD card if you use one in your Infinix Hot Note.
STAGE TWO
1. Be Sure your phone (Hot Note) is Still On and very well charged. Also "Unroot your phone" if it's rooted, you can easily unroot with King Root App.2. Go to where you Extracted your SP Flash Tool v5.1352.01, inside it, you'll find the file name flash_tool.exe , right click and Run it as Administrator.
For the first time, it will bring a Window saying - The Scatter file cannot found, please make sure the file is exist before download.
Just ignore that by clicking OK.
3. Click SCATTER LOADING, this opens your folder. Navigate into the folder where you had extracted the Lollipop ROM file for Infinix Hot Note X551.
According to my screenshot, I saved my Rom in my Desktop.
Select the scatter file with name - MT6592_Android_scatter.txt
Wait till it completely loads up on the flash programs.
4. On the SP Flashtool, where you see Download only, click and change it to FIRMWARE UPGRADE

5. This is the tricky part, you'll pass if you follow carefully.
*** Pick up the phone, it should be still ON at this stage >> Now plug the USB
On your Flashtool, Click DOWNLOAD icon, wait for some seconds... no worries, nothing happens here.
While it is still plugged in, Now Power OFF your Hot Note Device.
Seconds later, some readings will display on the SP flash tool.
6. Give it some time, Do NOT interrupt the process (well, unless you want to brick your device)
7. When the Process is Complete and successful, You'll get a Green Check Mark saying Download OK in the Flashtool on your PC, now you can unplug your phone.
Power ON the device, Keep calm as this will take a while since it's the first time.
When it's finally On, Follow the Instructions on the Welcome message and we're done!
Congrats! Your Infinix Hot Note now runs Android Lollipop 5.1

Step-by-Step: Using BlueStacks AppPlayer From Behind a Proxy
Introduction BlueStacks AppPlayer is a software that brings Android applications to PCs and Mac. This tutorial will show you how to install and use BlueStacks from behind an HTTP proxy. A regular HTTP proxy is sufficient to provide access to the internet to BlueStacks itself and to the most of Android apps. A small amount of Android apps use network protocols other than HTTP and HTTPS. In order to proxify these latter apps, you will need a SOCKS or SSH proxy server instead. The instructions below should apply to Mac OS X too as the setup procedure is very similar. This tutorial has been written for the version 0.8.0.2997 of BlueStacks. If you determine that this tutorial is outdated, then please feel free to let us know by sending an email via our contact form. Installation Download and install ProxyCap. Restart your system when the setup program asks you to do so. If you already have BlueStacks installed, skip to the next step. Otherwise, download the BlueStacks installer, and then run it. After installation completes, the installer will automatically launch BlueStacks. If your access to the internet is through the proxy server only, BlueStacks may stuck with the status "Downloading runtime data" or you may see a black screen. In any case, quit BlueStacks for the time being (right-click on the BlueStacks taskbar icon, and the click Quit). Configure ProxyCap to work with BlueStacks (Typical Configuration) We must define 2 separate proxy servers: HTTP and HTTPS. First let's add the HTTP proxy. Right click on the ProxyCap taskbar icon and choose Configuration. 
Click the Proxies category. Press the New  button on the toolbar.
Select HTTP from the Type drop down list. Fill in the other settings. Press the OK button. 
Now add the HTTPS proxy. Set the type of the proxy server to HTTPS. The server address and the authorization settings should be the same as for the HTTP proxy. 
Now let's create ProxyCap routing rules for BlueStacks. We will add 2 rules: one for the HTTP connections and the other for HTTPS. Click the Rules category. Press the New button on the toolbar.
In the Rule Action section, select the display name of the HTTP proxy server from the drop down list. In the Program section, click Specify, then click the Browse  button.
Navigate to the BlueStacks program folder. It is located in Program Files on 32-bit Windows or in Program Files (x86) on 64-bit Windows. Select HD-Network.exe. Press the Open button. 
In the Destination Port Range section, click Specify, then type 80 in the first port field. In the Rule Name section, enter a display name for the rule. Press the OK button. 
Now add one more "redirect" rule for HD-Network.exe but with the following changes: 1. In place of the HTTP proxy, specify the HTTPS one. 2. In place of the port 80, specify 443. 
Click OK to save the configuration. You are done, run BlueStacks and enjoy! Configure ProxyCap to work with BlueStacks (Extended Configuration) The above configuration is sufficient if your system uses a proxy server to connect to the internet. Besides HD-Network.exe, there are 2 other BlueStacks program files (HD-Agent.exe and HD-Frontend.exe) that require an internet access, but, unlike HD-Network.exe, they respect the system proxy settings. So this extra configuration step makes sense only if your system does NOT use a proxy server. Select the first entry in the rule list. Press the Properties  button on the toolbar.
Select the Programs tab. 
Add HD-Agent.exe and HD-Frontend.exe to the Program list. Press the OK button. 
Repeat the procedure above to add HD-Agent.exe and HD-Frontend.exe to the Program list in the second rule.
